Terms of Business
AssureNet UK provides a quote and execution service for
Term Life Assurance, Critical Illness and Income Protection/ Permanent Health
insurance. AssureNet UK is not regulated and does not offer advice on investments.
If you have a complaint about the service you receive or a product
which you have bought, please contact the Managing Director, AssureNet UK,

We offer introductions to regulated independent financial advisers who provide
advice. If you have asked for advice or an introduction to such an
entity, we take no responsibility for any aspect of the relationship.
We require our clients to give us instructions in writing or over
the Internet to avoid possible disputes. We will, however, accept oral instructions
provided they are subsequently confirmed in writing or by email.
Our remuneration may be by way of fees or commission or a combination
of both. We derive income from commission paid to us by life assurance
companies. We will inform you of the amount of commission payable
to us.
We do not handle client’s money. We never accept a cheque made out
to us (unless it is a cheque in settlement of charges or disbursement for
which we have sent you an invoice) or handle cash. All cheques for
premiums must be made payable to the life office.
You have the right to inspect copies, contract notes, vouchers, and entries
in our books or computerised records relating to your transactions.
We keep records of our business transactions for at least six years.
We will forward to you all documents showing ownership of your contracts
as soon as practicable after we receive them. Where a number of documents
relating to a series of transactions is involved, we normally hold each
document until the service is complete and then forward them to you.
DATA PROTECTION & DIRECT MARKETING - INFORMATION HELD ABOUT
YOU
In order to act for you properly, we sometimes obtain certain information
from you about your financial and personal circumstances.
By accepting these Terms of Business:
1. You agree that the information we hold about you can be held on computer
and/or paper files.
2. You agree that any information which you give us may be disclosed
to third parties for the purpose of processing your application.
3. You agree that we may use the information that we hold about
you to contact you from time to time by post, fax, e-mail or telephone to
bring your attention to additional products or services which may be of
benefit or interest to you.
4. We agree that any consent given by you under paragraph 3
above may be withdrawn by you at any time by contacting us in writing or
by email.
I/we hereby agree to the terms and conditions of business of AssureNet
UK, a copy of which I/we have received, read and understood.
